The Founder’s Story
Rémy Ouellette’s Journey
Rémy Ouellette’s journey is anything but conventional. Before founding P.R.O., he endured a difficult childhood and a long period marked by substance abuse and involvement in organized crime, before choosing to rebuild his life completely.
This transformation took place gradually, through hard work, discipline, and a determination to rebuild his reputation. He worked in several trades, including as a cook, mover, and septic tank cleaner, before finding his calling in hands-on work and finishing.
This story helps explain why trust, keeping one’s word, loyalty and the quality of the people around him matter so much to him today.
2013 - 2020
From woodworking to industrial painting
Rémy’s career has followed three distinct stages, each giving him a deeper understanding of surface preparation, specialized equipment and finish quality.

2023
Services tailored to the surface and the results you want
Peinture Rémy Ouellette was founded in February 2023. The goal soon became more than simply working for himself.
Rémy wanted to build a company that could grow, create jobs, invest in high-performance equipment and methods, take on major projects, and expand without compromising on quality.
In June 2024, he devoted himself full-time to growing P.R.O., accelerating the growth of the team, equipment, services, technology, partnerships, and engagement in the business community.
Looking Ahead
Growing Without Ever Compromising on Quality
Since its founding, Peinture Rémy Ouellette has continued to grow with a clear ambition: to expand the company while maintaining the quality and attention to detail that define every project.
This commitment to growth is reflected in an ongoing dedication to clients: delivering careful workmanship, respecting their expectations and providing finishes that truly enhance their spaces.
Beyond painting, Rémy aims to build a company recognized for its professionalism, craftsmanship and the trust it inspires.
Each new project is therefore an opportunity to demonstrate his commitment and continue refining his skills.
